Corporate Planning Group's Foundry
Technology Engineering team is looking for bright, motivated
individuals!
Foundry Technology Engineering
(FTE) is part to the Global External Manufacturing and Sourcing
group who is responsible for driving external manufacturing
technical engagements. As a member of the External Foundry IP
Strategy & Planning team, you will have the opportunity to
work with external vendors and cross division partners across
Intel. The position requires you to use your IP technical
background and combine that with Foundry, packaging and IP
ecosystem knowledge, business acumen and strategic thinking to
drive innovative initiatives. Individuals can enhance their
networking capabilities, program management skills and technical
expertise. You will have access to technology process, advanced
packaging, advanced test/sort and product NPI experts within
FTE.
In this role, responsibilities include, but
not limited to:
- Analyze foundry and IP vendor roadmaps
to determine product intercepts
- Use either your
foundational IP or mixed-signal IP expertise to advise product
teams on IP competitiveness and selection
- Network and
coordinate with BUs to align IP strategy and
requirements
- Drive strategic initiatives like IP roadmap
definition and IP dual-sourcing
- Investigate chiplet
disaggregation and 3DIC advanced packaging impact on IP design and
test
- Coordinate IP/EDA discussions with vendors to
support IP level design approaches for advanced process node
pathfinding

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or higher is EE or similar STEM degree
7+ years of experience in the field of IP design
- This position is not eligible for Intel immigration
sponsorship.
Preferred qualifications:
- The ideal candidate should have 10 years of IP development
and/or supplier management experience.
- Candidate
should be experienced with analog mixed signal IP, foundational IP,
digital IP, cores, and other SoC ingredients. The ideal candidate
should also have experience with IP design, planning for soft IP,
hard IPs, fabrics and general design of IPs and IP
interoperability.
- Ability to understand IP technical
requirements and market needs with knowledge of IP and SoC design
cycle for various disciplines
- Sound communication and
presentation skills. Able to summarize data in graphical
forms.
- Have worked with or ability to understand tool
flows and technical requirements for development EDA
tools

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
