Contract Duration: 6 to 12 months
Purpose & Objective of Position

As an Intern in Human Capital Management Product Support team, you will enable customers to implement and operate their SAP solutions efficiently by providing state-of-the-art support services. This includes the root-cause analysis of product and configuration issues and their resolution with the help of advanced tools, knowledge bases and remote connections to customer systems.  SAP's powerful software requires a high level of expertise from our support employees. Every support associate will therefore first receive general training and then undergo other specialization in a topic area.

You will work in a multinational team with experts from all over the world. The primary responsibility is to assist our customers in resolving issues related to our SAP HCM product line.

Skills / Competencies

Preferred:

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and oral)
  • Excellent diagnostic and technical analysis skills
  • Ability to assess, plan and troubleshoot while collecting information about the customer issue
  • Databases (SAP HANA, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, SQL Anywhere, ASE, MySQL, etc.)
  • Operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, AIX, etc.)
  • Object-oriented programming (Java, C++, ABAP, etc.) and programming logic
  • SAP Products & Solutions (SAP NetWeaver, SAP Business Suite, SAP BusinessObjects, etc.)
  • Experience in troubleshooting distributed systems, including installation, migration and networking
  • Knowledge of business and financial processes ( such as HR, Payroll functions)

Educational Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a University degree or College diploma program in Computer Science, Business and Technology, or related areas.

Qualifications   

  • Experience working with customers is a plus
  • Previous IT or Application related internship experience would be an asset
