Purpose & Objective of Position

The Leonardo & Analytics customer and program team is responsible for owning all managerial and operational tasks focusing on forming and executing the Line of Business strategy on behalf of employees and customers. This includes driving strategic customer and employee projects, communications, change management, organizational culture, as well as all customer engagements for the president. This is done while supporting the growth of SAP Leonardo & Analytics in the regions, sustainable development of talent, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction in collaboration across sales, product management, development and support.

The team is looking for a driven individual with strong project management skills and a passion to solve problems in a collaborative environment to support in driving forward customer and product related projects for SAP Leonardo & Analytics.

 

 

Expectations & Tasks

The selected candidate will work with the Customer Engagement Lead and Chief of Staff to the President and be responsible for the executing on holistic project plans – typical stakeholders include colleagues in marketing, product management, sales, development, services, partners etc. Specific duties include:

  • Drive key project follow-ups and execution for the team
  • Drive office execution and priorities for the president
  • Support customer office including coordination with account teams, executive briefing center and product teams
  • Support customer projects including presentations, follow-up, etc.
  • Align priorities and communication across internal & external stakeholders

 

Skills / Competencies

We are looking for a passionate and energetic professional; someone who is highly collaborative, detail-oriented and knows how to get work done as an individual contributor and in a team. Ideal candidates will possess a strong business acumen within the software industry.  Required skills include:

  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of business priorities, with a proven ability to learn on the job and work independently and remotely
  • Ability to think creatively and out-of-the box while keeping the business objectives in mind
  • Demonstrated ability and executive presence to work with all levels in an organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with quick response time
  • Diplomacy and communication, especially listening, are critical success factors
  • Ability to influence and drive consensus and collaboration
  • Comfort with navigating and working within a complex and geographically dispersed matrix organization.
  • Preferred candidate will also have international experience and a practical understanding of cultural issues
  • Consultative Approach
    The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator with strong empathy and the ability to motivate and influence individuals beyond her/his direct field of control. This requires strong facilitation and communication skills. The ideal candidate is organizationally savvy with keen business acumen. 
  • Results driven
    The ideal candidate is confident, thrives on hard work and consistent challenge, and is quick on her/his feet. (S)he will be an active partner with other SAP colleagues in formulating and executing project plans.

Educational Requirements (degrees, class completion, etc.)

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree completed or in progress
  • MBA a strong plus
  • Solid project management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
