The iOS Home is the center for an entire ecosystem of secure and intelligent home connectivity. We are developing technologies and crafting experiences that revolutionize the way people interact with their homes. The Home Future Investigations team is seeking an experienced engineer to build engineering prototypes for new and exciting directions.
Key Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in iOS internals: account management, IDS, iCloud DB, iOS frameworks, and daemons
- Comfortable with rapid development cycles and proving the technical viability of an early stage concept
- Deep background in iOS development
- Proficient in Objective-C
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Creative problem solver
Description
Your main responsibilities will include developing new engineering prototypes that help Apple understand possible future experiences in the home and communicate the potential to a wide audience within Apple. You will work closely with others on the investigations team as well as Apple engineers from the rest of the company to deliver working software experiences. You will own technical decisions, the actual development of engineering prototypes, as well as creation & collaborative development of new insights to explore.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
