Job Description

Come join IOTG and help shape the future of Edge Computing. IOTG's Systems and Software Architecture organization is looking for a principal architect to join a dynamic and versatile team of experts chartered with advancing IoT's Edge transformation in alignment with Intel One Edge strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing advanced customer use cases, developing proof-of-concepts and producing scalable horizontal system software architectures that leverage IoT's Edge ecosystem. This includes defining compelling capabilities and technologies to help differentiate IOTG's product portfolio. The architect will also act as subject matter expert to platform engineering teams, product managers and business unit GMs, and interface directly with customers to understand use cases, solutions and overall requirements.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master or PhD degree in Computer Science or similar discipline with 10+ years of experience.

  • Proven track record working on complex software projects from definition to delivery and adoption.

  • Demonstrated experience with virtualization, containerization and/or microservice orchestration technologies and their enablement in mainstream Linux distributions.

  • Experience with Cloud Service Providers IoT frameworks, e.g. AWS IoT, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud IoT.

  • Ability to communicate complex technology concepts to executive level staff internally and externally, and drive strategies into action.

  • Passionate learner and leader motivated to take on new challenges, and positively influencing others to get to the results.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with software across Intel's xPU portfolio, e.g. OpenVINO, OneAPI, Edge Insights, Smart Edge, etc.

  • Experience with Cloud and Edge capabilities such as AI, visual compute, connectivity, security and real-time.

  • Experience with IoT solutions as they pertain to Industrial, Retail, Hospitality, Health-Life Sciences, Public Sector

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$171,710.00-$274,890.00

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
