If so, then the Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics (AXG) Team, has an opportunity for you. In AXG we are responsible for delivering industry-leading GPU (3D, media, compute, and display) hardware, intellectual property (IP) blocks and system-on-a-chip (SoC) products for discrete graphics and throughput computing. We strive to lead the industry through continuous innovation and world-class engineering. We work closely with partners across Intel and we are looking for a Senior IP Designer to join our team.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- All phases of frontend microarchitecture and RTL design for a new scalable Fabric IP
- Work with architects on feature scoping, feasibility studies, and design tradeoff analysis
- Work with Physical Design for timing issues related to your design
- Design and Testplan Reviews of your design
- Close collaboration with architects, verification and physical design teams

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 4+ years of experience.
Your experience should include the following:
- 3+ years of experience in high performance digital logic designs and integration
- Strong understanding of SOC architecture, RTL design flows and debug skills
- Proficient in RTL design using Verilog/System Verilog
- Knowledge in industry Front End/RTL tools and design methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good understanding of SoC fabric protocols such as CXL, CCIX(or PCIe Gen-5)
- Good understanding of cache coherency concepts

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
