Come and join us. Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Ethernet Products Group (EPG), part of the Network and Edge Group (NEX) as a Pre-Silicon Verification Lead/Manager. Within Intel's EPG, join a creative team of silicon engineers dedicated to designing the hardware technologies that network the leading cloud service and telecommunication datacenters. You will lead a talented technical team chartered to build efficient and effective constrained-random verification environments that thoroughly exercise complex IP blocks. Your team will be responsible for the full life cycle of verification, from planning to test execution, and including collecting and closing coverage. You and your team will conduct/participate in test plan and test reviews, develop verification components and tests, and triage failures. In addition to managing complex verification project schedules, dependencies, and deliverables, you will be expected to mentor, provide technical guidance, and develop the team.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills in addition to the qualifications listed below:
- Experience providing effective, hands on, technical leadership in a results-oriented team environment
- Excellent written communication skills
- Good collaboration skills to interface with architecture, design, and system validation stakeholders.

The Data Platforms Group drives new products technologies from high-end co-processors for supercomputers to low-energy systems for enterprise and the cloud, as well as solutions for big data and intelligent devices. Education
Requirement
- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 6 years of industry work experience -or- a Masters degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 4 years of industry work experience -or- PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 2 years of industry work experience
Minimum Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a verification Lead Manager with successful Tape-ins
- 6+ years of experience in architecting and developing testbenches and verification components like bus functional models and score boards/checkers
- 6+ years of experience in verifying complex designs both at the component and full chip level
- 4+ years of experience in SystemVerilog based OVM/UVM, VMM, or related object oriented and coverage driven ASIC verification methodology
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree or higher
- Experience in a technical lead or managerial role
- Experience with TCP/IP
- Experience with Remote Direct Memory Access protocols (e.g. iWARP or RoCE)
- Experience with Emulation
