Intel is seeking a highly qualified candidate to join and
contribute to a growing firmware architecture team within the IP
Engineering Group (IPG). IPG develops soft and hard IPs that enable
the creation of Intel products.
As an IP Pre-Si
Validation Architect, you will help define Intel's approach for the
co-development and validation of IP hardware and firmware for a
variety of technologies including I/O, memory, fabrics and other
technologies. You will be responsible for the design and
implementation of proof-of-concept prototypes, delivery of
specifications, development of tools, and the design of processes
necessary for the development and validation of industry leading
IPs.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Experience would
be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes,
and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant
previous job and internship experience.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with 6+ years of industry experience.
OR
Master's
degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with 4+ years of
industry Experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Extensive experience working with cross functional Platform, SoC, and/or IP teams including Architecture, Design, Firmware, and Validation in the development of high-volume production silicon or board-level products.
Experience in the architecture and development of Pre-Silicon validation infrastructure and tests.
Experience with SoC validation and debug including System Verilog development, RTL Simulation environments (UVM/OVM) and SOC emulation environments.
Experience in the architecture and development of low-level software/firmware requiring direct interaction with hardware.
Experience in the development of processes and tools used for SoC, IP and/or Platform design and validation.
Significant contributions to a large silicon project and/or the associated test infrastructure necessary to deliver silicon that has shipped in high volume.
Experience with validation and debug of I/O interfaces such as PCIe, memory interfaces such as DDR5 or cache coherent SoC fabrics.
Demonstration of SW/FW development skills across various programming languages and development environments. Preferably with experience in C, System Verilog, SystemC and/or various scripting languages such as Python or PERL.
Solid technical communication skills with proven experience using them in various technical and non-technical scenarios.
Demonstrated willingness to work across organizations, geographies, and companies to drive technical direction and collaborate to solve technical issues.
Demonstrated willingness to solve complex system level problems involving both technical and non-technical constraints.

Annual Salary
Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$132,940.00-$199,800.00

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
