Intel's Analog and Mixed-Signal IP Group(AMSG) is looking for an IP Verification engineer to contribute in the high-performance delivery/Voltage Regulator/Low Drop Out/Bandgap IP space for Intel's flagship client/server/chipset/Graphics SOC designs.

This position provides an exciting and challenging technical opportunity in IP verification

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -

  • Defining and developing SystemVerilog-based validation environments and test suites -
  • Turning design documentation into a validation plan and executing the validation plan -
  • Writing test cases and executing them in a simulation environment, and debugging simulation failures -
  • Defining and running regressions, and triaging regression failures -
  • Documenting failures in a bug tracking database and driving them to closure -
  • Interacting with architects and RTL design engineers in the definition of the validation environment and plan as well as resolution of simulation failures -
  • SOC IP integration support-
  • Post silicon debug support to on EV platform and tester


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.     

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of experience - OR - Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ months of experience in:

  • Digital logic, microprocessor design, computer architecture, and software/programming. -
  • VHDL/Verilog/System Verilog RTL coding

Preferred Qualifications: -

  • OVM/UVM validation based concepts -
  • Digital/ASIC/SOC design -
  • VLSI coursework or projects
