Lab Hardware Equipment Technicians perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches, or drawings. May also perform setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance on production equipment. Assignments are semi-routine in nature. Work performed within generally defined parameters. Some degree of judgment required in resolving non-standard problems. Normally receives general instructions on most work.

We are looking for a candidate that has diverse skills that can help in multiple areas of the Engineering Services team: Experience with ATE Memory testers; Part Handler and Wafer handlers; Familiarity in Windows server, and Linux environment extremely important. Additional skills in Microprobe setup, environmental lab operations, and ESD work will be a plus. Good documentation skills to annotate what was done and precious information when task will need to be handled by another person on the shift. Understand the weaknesses and strengths to learn and leverage the support of the experts on various equipment.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proven experience balancing multiple priorities/tasks effectively.

Willing to work independently and as part a team, with engineers, technicians, suppliers, and contractors in support of the equipment sets assigned.

The position is associated with the sale of the NAND business to SK Hynix aligning to Phase 2 of the transaction. Employees aligned to Phase 2 will continue to be employed by Intel developing NAND technology and components. Phase 2 of the transaction is expected to close in March 2025 at which time employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition employment to Solidigm, a stand-alone US subsidiary of SK Hynix headquartered in San Jose, California with offices world-wide. Crooke as CEO, previously senior vice president and general manager of Intels Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must have an AS degree in electronics/electronics or related field.
2+ years of experience in the following areas:
- Maintaining equipment/material handling systems.
- Electromechanical systems including servo/stepper motors pneumatics cylinder and optical and electrical position sensors.
- Interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, policy manuals safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Metering devices/Calibration devices.

Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
2+ years of experience in the following areas:
- TDR purpose and scope related to ATE equipment and Probing and less degree troubleshooting Fixtures DSAs.
- Windows /Linux admin skills mounting drive checking remote login capabilities; group administration; Network connectivity.
- MS Office tools.
