Job Description

Fab Sort Manufacturing Equipment Productivity Group is hiring a Senior Technical Engineer to focus on improving fab labor productivity. With Intel's ambitious strategies and manufacturing goals, the focus on equipment productivity and module efficiency has never been more critical to the future success of the company. This Engineer will focus on the following objectives helping drive to new productivity targets in Fab Sort Manufacturing and future foundry factories:

  • Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Operations benchmarking team to maintain world class targets
  • Reestablish detailed direct labor scripts for all functional areas documenting content.
  • Synchronize cross- Fab Sort Manufacturing, cross-Technology Development, cross-node labor reduction roadmaps
  • Work with modules to develop roadmaps to new productivity and efficiency targets
  • Synchronize cross- Fab Sort Manufacturing and cross- Technology Development, cross-node.
  • Drive the rapid adoption of cutting automation capabilities released from Logic Technology Development and Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Operations
  • Drive the sharing of process and productivity Best Known Methods s across Intels technology nodes.
  • Insert leading-edge fab support technologies helping drive productivity and efficiency
  • Work with suppliers to implement Rest of World solutions that will help module efficiency
  • Partner with Technology Development to help hit Model of Record targets on day 1 of transfer.
  • Drive improvements to reduce labor content and eliminate waste to increase labor efficiency

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

  

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess at least one of the following degrees plus the years of experience determined for each degree in the areas specified below:  

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Industrial Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry
  • 4+ years in 300mm fab process or equipment engineering experience

This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS or Ph.D. in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Industrial Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry
  • 8+ years process and equipment development, or sustaining factory experience
  • Experience partnering with Intel supply chain and suppliers to deliver solutions

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
