Our AT&T?s OTT (Over-the-Top) team is seeking an experienced dynamic candidate to join us in our El Segundo, California offices to join us as a Lead Marketing Manager OTT. This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic team within an established organization that has innovation in its DNA.

The position will manage and execute strategic creative for our device partners and work with external agencies tasked with producing assets that leverage TV programmer content while adhering to the DIRECTV NOW brand.

To be successful in this role you will excel at the following:

  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams on strategic device marketing calendar
  • Manage device marketing calendars and production schedules to ensure timely delivery of creative assets
  • Direct design work with external agency for partner asset creation
  • Work closely with Asset Management, Brand, and Legal teams to secure all internal and external approvals
  • Communicate with device marketing partners on creative feedback and final delivery of assets
  • Develop and execute content marketing strategies that explicitly promote the benefits of DIRECTV NOW subscription and drive acquisition and retention
  • Work with Analytics teams to understand device marketing performance, and opportunities for improvement.   Analyze the device customer lifecycle and jointly develop customer lifecycle management
  • Develop and execute device landing page optimization
  • Demonstrating full accountability for success of projects by identifying input required from cross-functional areas and proactively managing action items, issues and deliverables

The background needed to be successful includes:

  • Deep understanding of and appreciation for entertainment industry
  • Prior experience in managing production and delivery of creative assets & strong creative judgment
  • Stellar project management skills with a proven track record of delivering against tight deadlines
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills and proven ability to handle multiple projects
  • Expertise in direct performance marketing with a subscription business.  Understanding the levers of acquisition and retention.
  • Obsession with hitting our acquisition targets.
  • Five+ years? experience with technology product management and marketing
  • Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related discipline strongly preferred.
