ADP is hiring a Lead QA Engineer in our Alpharetta GA location.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute software test plans, write and maintain test automation scripts that match test plans, create data sheets to be used with test scripts, and perform manual, negative, and regression tests by executing batches of automated scripts throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Facilitate development practices to ensure higher levels of end-to-end testing automation. Optimize test automation and increase test automation pipeline.
  • Maintain the integrity of assigned product systems on test environments. Engineer solutions for improved test data management and provisioning. Promote Agile and DevOps adoption.
  • Review and approve software design specifications and acceptance criteria.
  • Communicate software problems with repeatable steps. Analyze testing incidents to ascertain sources and nature of defects.
  • Collaborate with team members (Development, Testing Engineers, Scrum Master), Product Owner and Business partners to ensure that proper software testing methodologies are used, product requirements/issues are documented and diagnosed, and testing is completed according to established deadlines and processes.
  • Experimentation with next generation technologies to ensure continuous improvement and maturity of test engineering practices. Leverage best practices, tools and techniques to improve the quality of test engineering, infrastructure and team productivity/efficiencies.

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master's degree plus two (2) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree plus five years of experience.

Two (2) + years of experienceRequired

  • Web Browser Test Automation: Selenium
  • Programming and scripting with Java & HTML/CSS/ JavaScript
  • Testing Framework: TestNG or Junit
  • Development Environment: Eclipse / Maven
  • Agile / Scrum (workflow Rally or JIRA)
  • Version Control (preferred: Git, Bitbucket)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
  • Behavior Driven Development/Test Driven Development (BDD/TDD): Cucumber
  • Continuous Integration: Jenkins
  • Test automation: UFT/LeanFT/QTP, Perfecto or Appium (beneficial)
  • Performance Test Automation: LoadRunner or JMeter
  • API Test Automation: SoapUI, Postman or Katalon
  • Unit Test Framework: JUnit or Apex Unit Test (Salesforce)
Beneficial:
  • Scripting Oracle CPQ/BML
  • Programming and scripting with VBScript, VB.Net or C#, Python
  • Development Platform: Oracle Application Express (APEX) or Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Integration tools, including AutoIT, Sikuli
  • Robotic Process Automation: BluePrism
