The Lead System Validation Engineer at Intel:

• Creates, defines and develops system validation environment and test suites.

• Uses and applies emulation and platform level tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec.

• Responsible for the development of methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debug of failures.

• Requires broad understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with Architecture, Design, and Pre-silicon Validation teams in improving Post-silicon test content and providing feedback for future on die debug features.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
 

Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 6+ years of experience -OR- Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 4+ years of experience in:

• Post Silicon validation of CPUs/Chipsets or IOs.
• Hardware and or software development debugging skills.
• Developing validation test strategies and plans.
• DFX, JTAG functionality & debug.

Preferred Qualifications:

• understanding of High speed IO (USB, PCIe, MIPI) protocols and the validation of IO interfaces.
• SoC Validation, Camera Subsystem, Dfx.
• SoC clocking & reset flows.
• Lab equipment Logic Analyzer Oscilloscope, &/ protocol analyzers.
• C Perl and or Python.

We validate, debug, and tune the newest designs and world-changing technologies that enrich the lives of every person on earth. We play a critical role in completing the PRQs of Intel products and in Intel's ability to deliver the annual technology platforms in our roadmap.
