 In this role, you will communicate with internal and external partners with a high degree of professionalism.  You will aid in overall workers’ compensation claim cost reduction by coordinating efforts between all involved vendors, clients and work site employees.  You will monitor workers’ compensation claims administrator accountability with agreed performance standards and will coordinate needs for change with the Claims Director. This position involves solving client challenges, including issue resolution, answering questions, and providing training on all aspects of the Workers’ Compensation program. You carry the weight of ADP’s service reputation and client satisfaction in your hands.

Everyday your focus could drastically change as there will be special projects, claim reviews, client and internal partner needs.  Your primary goals include client service to both internal and external partners,  consultation and providing TPA oversight for multiple jurisdictions to ensure every claim is being handled professionally and in the best interest of ADP and our clients.  Each day will be different because the questions you receive will vary, as will the solutions you provide each client. There will be no shortage of new situations that you will encounter, which will keep things interesting.  Our comprehensive training will help to set you up for success!

What you’ll do:

What you can expect on a typical day:

In this position, you will review and oversee the claim administrator performance and contractual compliance within assigned geographical areas. You will be responsible for evaluating reserves and settlement recommendations. There will be accountability for Return to Work efforts, financial oversight and documentation of claim activity according to stated claim procedures.You will act as a client advocate and you are the intermediary between our internal partners and the Workers' Compensation Claim Administrator staff. You will be responsible for communication with internal/external clients, injured workers, related vendors, as well as Workers' Compensation claim administrator activity for TotalSource Workers' Compensation claims. You will be held to metrics in your designated jurisdiction. You will work directly with the Claims Manager/Director to determine appropriate workloads and the necessity of procedure changes within the Risk-WC Claims Unit. You will participate in claim reviews of the Workers' Compensation Claim Administrator to insure quality compliance of service requirements and client satisfaction in claims handling.

You will help our clients manage their workers’ compensation program using our technology solutions, which could include troubleshooting, investigating and probing to resolve any service issues. Support might also involve partnering with multiple business units, teams and vendors for troubleshooting and delivering a seamless client experience.

You will continually upgrade your knowledge and skills on legal, jurisdictional, technological, compliance, standard operating procedure, administrative practices, and desktop support tools to develop and maintain your ability to support our clients. You will attend professional development courses and seminars in your assigned jurisdiction as needed


  • 5 years or more of Workers’ Compensation Indemnity claim handling experience
  • 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Workers’ Compensation laws for assigned geographical areas is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
