The University of Dayton Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering seeks applicants for a non-tenure-track Lecturer Position. The position is available to begin August 16, 2020.

The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering offers new faculty an opportunity to join a community deeply committed to their success and to education at all levels. It also encourages collaborations in research and teaching within the department and across the university. Additionally, the Dayton area offers unique opportunities for engineering faculty to collaborate with premier researchers at the Air Force Research Laboratory located at Wright-Patterson AFB, the University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI), and/or to engage in city transformative research and teaching.

Interested persons must submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, contact information for three references, and statement of teaching interests and philosophy. Also, please provide a statement as to how you would promote inclusive excellence through your teaching, and service. Other than the cover letter and curriculum vitae, there is a limit of two pages for each of the above items. Minimum Qualifications

All applicants must have completed all requirements for their Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field by July 1, 2020.
