Platform Security Engineering (PSE) is a small, high-output team in the Software and Advanced Technology Group.

Our team invents next-generation "AI for Security" solutions to detect cyber threats using Intel CPU features and machine learning techniques http://www.intel.com/tdt. Solutions developed by our team have been deployed in over a Billion systems. The team is looking for an experienced and motivated Linux developer with excellent analytical and debugging skills, along with being an effective team player with a continuous learning mindset.

This opportunity includes the design, development, and optimizations of Linux systems software, user space and kernel, interfacing with next-gen Intel SoCs to deliver innovative solutions that apply AI to solve the most difficult security threats of our times. You will be working closely with industry-leading partners, data science teams, and platform architects all the way from product definition to deployment. You will also be actively participating in pathfinding and creating prototypes as necessary.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The ideal candidate will successfully demonstrate:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • The candidate must have a willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


Minimum Qualifications:

You must possess Bachelor or Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • 2+ years hands-on experience in software development/debugging Linux systems.

  • Solid programming skills in C/C++.

  • Knowledge of Linux OS architecture fundamentals.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of IA computer architecture, operating systems, and multithreaded programming.

  • Knowledge of Virtualization technology.

  • Experience in performance analysis.

  • Experience with Agile SW development.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$97,500.00-$146,340.00

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
