In AXG, we are passionate about
delivering industry-leading GPU (3D, media, compute, and display)
hardware, intellectual property (IP) blocks and system-on-chip
(SoC) products for discrete graphics and throughput computing. We
strive to lead the industry through continuous innovation and
world-class engineering. We are looking for a Logic Design Engineer
to join our team. This position is at the forefront of Intel's next
generation media development.
In this
position, you will utilize all your talents to work on the micro
architecture/ logic design of the latest best Intel media quick
sync technology and design. Your responsibilities will include, but
not be limited to one or more of the following aspects of the
design flow which encompasses all aspects of logic design
methodology:
For feature feasibility study, performance analysis and micro architecture of latest landing zone requirement.
Digital design of a wide variety of logic functions, with emphasis on media encoder/decoder design.
Register Transfer Level RTL HDL design feasibility, development and debug.
Developing C or Perl behavioral models for media codec blocks.
The
candidate should also exhibit the following behavioral

Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Motivated, self-directed and willingness to work effectively both independently and with a team.

You must possess the below minimum
qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the
minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in
identifying top candidates.
Minimum
Qualifications:
You must possess a
Bachelor's degree with 2+ years Electrical
Engineering, Computer Engineering or in a related discipline and
industry experience.
-OR-
Master's degree in
the same fields
Your experience should be in
the following:
Computer system architecture.
Digital electronics and logic design.
Verilog or System Verilog.
Experience with logic verification, synthesis, and timing analysis tools.
Experience with C or Perl programming (will also consider: C++, C#, and Python).
Preferred
Qualifications:
Media
Knowledge on video standards like H.264, HEVC, VP8/9 are a
plus.
Media codec
standards.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
