You will be part of the Mixed Signal IP Development team chartered to deliver High Speed Serial I/O (HSIO) IP to SOC teams across Intel for the latest server, desktop, laptop, and other products. In this role you will build your skills in and work on Verilog design, mixed signal validation (MSV), analog design and modeling.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Logic design with HDL languages such as System Verilog.
  • Transistor-level analog and IO datapath circuit design.
  • Analog Behavior modelling.
  • Developing test plans and test benches for mixed-signal verification.
  • Running simulations and debug using MSV tools such as Synopsys VCSXA, Synopsys Finesim, Cadence AMS Simulator.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (System, Analog, Verification, and Logic design engineering teams).



You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 3+ years of experience -OR- a Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 2+ years of experience in:

  • Knowledge of HSIO blocks like Transmitter, Receiver, PLL, compensation circuits, Equalization techniques etc.
  • Knowledge of HSIO protocol stack e.g. PCIe, USB etc.
  • Experience with Analog design tools such as Cadence Virtuoso.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Scripting languages e.g. Perl, shell, Python
  • Knowledge of UVM/OVM
