Job Description

This position is with the Logic Technology Development Manufacturing (LTD-M) Development Metals deposition team working in one of the most advanced semiconductor clean room facilities in the world. You will have the opportunity to be responsible for several multi-million-dollar wafer processing equipment working directly with highly skill technicians to achieve top levels of performance.

Job responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • You will be responsible for delivering sustaining excellence in ramping to high volume production and developing the maintenance and operational systems on current and future manufacturing technologies.
  • You will work with our virtual factory counterparts to transfer new technologies and sustain the Copy Exact Methodology.

This is an entry-level position and compensation will be given accordingly


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements:
Candidate must possess a Master's degree majoring in Physics, Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field of study (expect to complete the required degree and be able to start within 6 months of receiving the offer)

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidate should have minimum 6 months experience in one or more of the following (having more than one will be preferred):

  • Sustaining duties including tool ownership and delivering a robust, manufacturable module.
  • Hands-on experience using and maintaining scientific equipment.
  • Semiconductor materials, characterization and/or processing experience
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC) or Design of Experiments (DOE) principles and engineering analysis tools.
  • Analytical Techniques.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
