The Frame is a critical component of every wafer that is manufactured by Intel. The frame contains silicon structures that are needed by various lithographic tools for optimal functionality.
Intel's Frame
Automation Team is responsible for developing automation and
specifications to support the Frame. We are constantly innovating
and adapting to Intel's next generation process technology and
products as dictated by Moore's Law. To keep the process going, we
work closely with engineers from Lithography, Process Integration,
Device Physics, Circuit Design, and RET (Resolution Enhancement
Technology) teams to understand and establish frame structures. We
design frame structures so that the next generation of Intel
products are the best they can be.
In this job,
a typical day might look like the
following:
Talk to process integration and lithography engineers to understand details of semiconductor processing steps.
Talk to a lithography module engineer (scanner alignment, registration/overlay module) to understand tool requirements.
Create design specification/rules that allow creation of metrology marks that are compatible with module requirements and process limitations.
Create new software modules or use existing software modules to create CAD layouts for key building block of the Frame.
To thrive
in our team, you must:
Be self-driven.
Have meticulous communication skills to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Be a curious learner. Willing to learn about details of semiconductor manufacturing process.
Comprehend capabilities and limitations of semiconductor process, requirements of lithography tools, and produce design specifications or software modules under tight deadlines and stringent quality expectations.
Be agile enough to absorb constantly changing requirements and make appropriate trade-offs in terms of scope and schedule.
Be highly motivated and always look for ways to improve the team's work.
Not let roadblocks frustrate you but let them motivate you to find the best solution.
What we offer:
We give you opportunities to transform technology and create a better future, by delivering products that touch the lives of every person on earth.
