The LTD Resolution Enhancement Technology (RET) team is extending the limits of feature sizes that are patternable on Intel's devices, using current and future lithography manufacturing tooling. The team works closely with fab integrated lithography process and mask manufacturing teams using computational lithography tooling to optimize mask patterns and maximize manufacturing process window. The RET team is also works closely with the design rule definition teams using lithography and patterning simulation capabilities to determine design rules for future Intel process nodes.

As the RET team grows and expands in structure, we need talented and passionate managers to serve as RET group leaders in both the RET Model and RET Recipe teams.

Job responsibilities are as follows but are not limited to:

  • Build, manage, and grow a team of RET engineers to support both high volume manufacturing and new technology development at Intel.

  • Manage and mentor individual RET engineers with a diverse range of experience and backgrounds, enabling RET engineers to expand in skill & capability towards meeting LTD process technology needs.

  • Work collaboratively as a part of the overall RET management team to build and grow RET capabilities at Intel.

  • Role-model and establish a team culture of trust, collaboration, safety, accountability, and excellence.

  • Build strong relationships with LTD process technology and design teams based on mutual trust and respect.

  • Work closely with other RET engineers to improve the overall expertise level of the team and drive implementation of tools and methodologies to improve RET performance across all process layers.

    You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Computer Science, or related fields.

    -4+ years of experience in the following:

    • Semiconductor industry with emphasis on computational lithography, resolution enhancement technology, and or mask optimization capability

    • Extensive knowledge of application of RET concepts to solve integrated process problems.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience as a team leader with the ability to lead a team of diverse technical backgrounds.

    • Understanding of the latest techniques for developing and optimizing Optical Proximity Correction (OPC) solutions to support both high volume and newly developing technology nodes.

    • Knowledge of and passion for people management in an engineering setting.

    Work Model for this Role

    This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
