Help transform the way yield analysis is performed at Intel TD. The primary responsibility of this role is to continuously improve tools, methods and practices in use for yield analysis by our large group of users and provide a clear and forward thinking vision of how to evolve the existing analytics ecosystem to better address the yield analysis challenges of future technology nodes.

We want innovative and out of the box thinking as well as practical implementation strategies to bring those visions to life.

Your main job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Use predictive modeling, statistics, Machine Learning, Data Mining, and other data analysis techniques to explore and extract insights from structure and unstructured data.

  • Develop algorithms to apply mathematics to data, perform large scale experimentation and build data driven apps to translate data into intelligence.

  • Develop proof of concept software and work with internal and external software development teams to deploy production level solutions for end users

  • Gain deep understanding of data analysis, tools and problem solving strategies used by existing user base and provide ideas and solutions that fit seamlessly within the users established workflow.

  • Maintain up-to-date and through understanding of existing data infrastructures, anticipate future needs, and drive the necessary changes to maintain and improve these systems with the help of various automation and software development teams

  • Become expert in various domains of data that is available for yield analysis and formulate strategies to interconnect these domains for rapid yield analysis

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

  • PhD degree in an Engineering and/or Science discipline.

  • 2+ years of experience with programming.

  • 3+ years of experience in large scale data analysis role

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in the following:

  • Hands on experience with relational database structures, research methods, machine learning, scripting languages (i.e. Python, Perl), programing languages (i.e. Java, C/C++, SQL), statistical analytics packages (jmp, Matlab)

  • Familiarity with Cloud based technologies, Big Data technologies (i.e. Hadoop , HBase, Lucene/Solr) Hands on experience with design, development, debug and test of complex software to build applications and web UIs

  • Statistical analysis, numerical analysis and numerical modeling.

  • Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures and database fundamentals.

  • Demonstrated ability of managing large scale data analytics projects

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
