We've all found apps we love and apps that have changed our lives. Apps transform the ways we learn, work, travel, have fun, and pursue our passions.

In 2008, the App Store launched with 500 apps. Now there are more than two million. And so our team challenged ourselves: How can we offer more perspective and insight? How do we showcase the work of creative developers? How can we make the App Store a place our hundreds of millions of customers will want to visit every single day? We're hiring people who want to help make that happen!

We're seeking a producer to support creative content production for the Mac App Store. We are looking for someone with top-notch project management, communication, and collaboration skills to manage editorial content from ideation to launch. We're growing and we urge you to apply!

  • Track record of partnership and collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to prioritize a number of competing tasks

The producer sits at the heart of the Mac App Store, working cross-functionally to coordinate and deliver engaging stories and editorial content to our customers.

Working closely with Mac App Store teams to identify and understand their priorities, the producer maps out the execution plan from concept to completion. The producer creates, articulates, and tracks deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and launch plans, regularly providing updates to global teams and leadership.

This role will coordinate across a wide range of teams (including design, editorial, video, content programming, localization, and business affairs) to ensure that projects are completed on time and adhere to the highest standards. Crucial to this role is the ability to think globally. The Mac App Store Producer will work with teams in multiple countries with different timezones and dependencies.

An ability to set the pace while working on high-pressure projects with extremely tight deadlines - and hold a wide variety of peers to those deadlines - is a must. The producer is able to grasp and communicate complex technical instructions and understand the impact this has on other systems and teams.

This role is for someone who has a proven track record of cross-functional teamwork, exercises the highest levels of professionalism and confidentiality, and operates with urgency, but without a sense of panic. You should have the ability to hit the ground running and be familiar with the speed at which design and creative agencies work.
