The Americas Operations Fulfillment BPR team is looking for an influential business leader with proven record of leading complex regional and global project-based initiatives across Logistics, Supply Chain, and Reseller Operations. The successful candidate will have strong team leadership skills and experience, with a solid background in project management, supply chain, and/or partner management. Key areas of expertise for this role are technical problem solving, business process redesign and process documentation, and exposure to business systems integration or implementation. The ideal candidate must be able to influence and execute in an environment of ambiguity, lead cross-functional teams in the successful delivery of business critical projects, and help the team discover operational benefit and strategic value across multiple business functions

Key Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8-10 years experience managing complex and global projects in the areas of Supply Chain, Customer/Reseller Operations, and/or contract Logistics;
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in change management, including process improvement, technical documentation, and test planning/end-user validation;
  • 3-5 years of team leadership/management experience;
  • Proven track record of leading global, strategic projects, combined with the ability to execute tactical project-level activities and tasks;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Strong organizational and collaboration abilities;
  • Firsthand knowledge of industry best practices, third-party partner management, and supplier/customer technologies;
  • Experience working with remote/distributed project teams in a highly ambiguous, fast-paced business environment;
  • Confidence in managing ambiguity;
  • Proven experience working effectively in a matrix and global organization;
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements; corresponding ability to synthesize complex technical information into meaningful business value;
  • SAP/ERP or B2B implementation experience a plus

Description

This position requires the ability to manage a team of project managers supporting regional and global Logistics, Supply Chain, and Customer/Partner initiatives, while concurrently managing cross-organizational projects that define, build and roll-out innovative technology and business process solutions. Candidates should have subject matter expertise in Partner Management, Business Systems Integration, Fulfillment Operations, and/or Logistics; exceptional project management skills; great attention to detail; and a proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organization. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who is comfortable working with ambiguity, leading teams through complex initiatives, and influencing across a global, fast-paced and matrix organization

Education & Experience

BS/BA or equivalent degree required;

PMP or equivalent project management certification a plus

Additional Requirements

  • Leverage industry trends, best practices, and leading-edge technology and process improvement concepts;
  • Lead and implement change management initiatives, influencing decisions through collaboration, leadership and a customer-focused approach;
  • Cultivate functional subject matter expertise and technical leadership around business systems and processes;
  • Develop and maintain key project governance documentation to ensure an appropriate amount of structure is applied to enable project success;
  • Gather, synthesize and document business requirements, process flows, and design specifications to enable internal and external technical development;
  • Assess gaps between current systems/processes and business needs, develop multi-year roadmaps to address gaps;
  • Apply analytical skills to rationalize change;
  • Provide timely, relevant communication and elevate critical risks around team's projects to management and senior-executive stakeholders;
  • Act as a liaison between global business teams; Apple IS&T; and supply chain and customer partners to ensure that business requirements are complete and fully addressed by proposed technology solutions;
  • Ability to travel, approximately 25%
