The TD Manufacturing Engineering Team is looking for
an experienced individual interested in becoming a Manufacturing
Engineer. The TD Manufacturing Engineers provide tactical and
strategic operational support to ensure the successful development
and ramp of a high volume semiconductor sort facility.
The
primary responsibilities of this position will include the analysis
of operational WIP data and Equipment availability information to
drive improvements in sort line velocity. In addition, the Mfg
Engineer drives the implementation of operational systems to drive
productivity improvements while ensuring smooth implementation of
changes affecting operations. The role will focus upon analysis of
data and the creation of sustainable reporting systems and
indicators used widely in the organization for both tactical and
strategic management of material as it moves through the sort
factory. This will involve the conceptual design, creation and
management of operational systems that will be used across multiple
areas of the factory to ensure optimal performance is achieved in
all areas.
The Manufacturing Engineer partners with
multiple Engineering and Automation stakeholders to understand
operational goals & requests, and develop strategies and
tools to enable optimized WIP flow through the RA4 sort factory,
aligned to factory goals.
This position will be expected
to analyze key factory metrics and drive improvements while
providing direction that will improve overall factory
performance.
As a Manufacturing Engineer your
job responsibilities will include but not limited
to:
Define and drive the development and implementation of manufacturing decision support tools and methodologies.
Determine, develop, and provide analysis of key factory metrics, post implementation system verification and appropriate response plans.
Provide tactical simulation of WIP movement and predict factory impact, while also verifying operational changes.
Act as a liaison between manufacturing and other factory groups, such as Probe card maintenance, Integration and Product engineering, Embedded systems, Module engineering, Automation, Production Control, Planning, and Industrial Engineering, delivering reports and deploying capabilities necessary to manage the factory, and maintain systems, configurations and reports commonly used across the organization.
Analyze data to Identify system enhancements and optimization opportunity and drive the roadmap for implementation.

This is an entry level position and compensations will be given accordingly.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research and or relevant previous job and or internship experiences.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Candidate must posses a Master's Degree majoring in Industrial Engineering, Material Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics or applicable relevant degree AND exposed to work in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment with 6+ months of experience.
Preferred qualifications:
Minimum 6+ months of experience in one or more of the
following:
Proven track record of Problem Solving Methodologies, Data Analysis skills including statistical analysis and modeling or AI/Machine Learning.
Extensive experience with Data analysis visualization tools: Advanced SQL programming, Power BI reports development, Excel, VBA and Visual Basic/R/Python or Matlab.
Proven track record of driving system analysis, implementation, refinement and documentation development.
