Apple's Marcom Creative Director will be a leader in our marketing and communications team who will empower a team of hardworking writers, art directors, and ACD's to build concepts across all mediums for products, product launches and campaigns. This CD will share our deep love of Apple and Apple products and your work will be see by Apple customers the world over.

This position will report directly to a Group Creative Director.

Key Qualifications

  • You will have past experience in crafting work in the mediums of advertising, social media, conceptual campaigns, product launches, branding, photography, film and video. He or she will obsess over creative work that is thoughtful, meaningful, provocative at times, clear, and inspiring. You will guide up and coming creatives, and ACD's seeking to do the same. You will direct other creatives as well as work in the creative process yourself.
  • You should have roughly 15 + years of experience working as a leader providing creative direction, concepting, and producing for major marketing, communication or advertising campaigns.

Description

He or she will own the creative process for assigned work. Working across and directing creative teams across Marcom, even those who do not report directly into their team. You will create, review, and empower campaigns for the Apple brand and products.

You will work across disciplines to integrate strategies and messaging for online, retail, channel, events, advertising and new mediums of communication.

You will partner with project managers and Brand Managers to ensure that schedules are accurate and realistic and that deadlines are met.

Become an integral part of a Brand team which will present work to senior creative staff, product marketing managers, and Apple executives.

You will collaborate with his or her partner CD/Art Director to concept ideas and co-direct teams.

You will be a Leader that encourages a creative team while engaging in all aspects of the creative process. When working with outside agencies and/or production companies you will ensure Apple is represented in the highest regard as a brand and partner.

Work to provide clarity, communication, and leadership that moves creative teams forward through ambiguity. Partner with co-leaders to build a positive environment for the team, especially when the stakes are high.

Provides feedback, listens to perspectives, and resolves conflicts within your team as well as across Marcom. Uses leadership skills to ensure all voices are heard and considered, the loud, the quiet, and the different.

Seeks, learns, and provides feedback to and from all sources. Is open to ideas and possibilities from unexpected places. Takes time to listen and consider information prior to coming to conclusions.
