It's an exciting time to join Intel 3D NAND Technology and Manufacturing Group as a Mask Designer!
What you'll be doing:
- Material science and process research for non-volatile memory.
- Component design, manufacturing, ASIC, board, solid-state drives, and SW solutions.
- Deliver disruptive solutions that transform computing across all segments from Internet Portal Data Centers (IPDCs) to Consumer Client Devices such as Ultrabooks and Tablets.
- Invent, develop, bring to market, and support customers with leading-edge non-volatile memory products.

The position is associated with the sale of the NAND business to SK Hynix aligning to Phase 2 of the transaction. Employees aligned to Phase 2 will continue to be employed by Intel developing NAND technology and components. Phase 2 of the transaction is expected to close in March 2025 at which time employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition employment to Solidigm, a stand-alone US subsidiary of SK Hynix headquartered in San Jose, California with offices worldwide. Solidigm is a leading global supplier of NAND flash memory solutions, led by Robert (Rob) B. Crooke as CEO, previously senior vice president, and general manager of Intels Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

work/classes/research.
Minimum
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of direct mask layout experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A technical degree in VLSI or Physical Design/Mask Design.
- 5-year experience with industry-based (CAD) layout tools including Cadence (Virtuoso, VXL).
- 5-year experience in verification (Calibre DRC, and LVS).
- 5-year experience of basic electronic circuit functionality and behaviors (passive and active circuit structures).
- 2-year experience layout section/FUB lead experiences.
- 5-year experience in analog design and layout guidelines, high-speed IO, (matching devices, symmetrical layout, signal shielding, other analog specific guidelines).
- 5-year experience with layout of the standard cells for APR, custom standard cell library, scribe layouts, and runset regression test cases.
- 2 years of experience with UNIX, MS Windows, and web-based tools.
