Performs research, design, and development of test equipment software, library, program flow, fixture, hardware, probing, module and/or tester for main and/or peripheral printed boards assembly (PBA). Responsibilities include technology pathfinding, architecture development, design material gathering, development of test strategy, device library, determining test parameters, specify test to be performed, conducting design review, designing test/fixture, performing fixture acceptance, debugging test/fixture, resolving design and implementation issues, performs testability and fault coverage analysis, meeting production quality and reliability requirement, and updating test/fixture as needed through product life cycle. Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgment on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.

Knowledge and/or
experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of
your school work and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant
previous job and/or internship experiences .
Minimum
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor with 4+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics or other relevant Technical related field or Master degree with 3+ years of experience or PhD with 1+ years of experience.
Proficient in solid modeling software such as ProE or Solid Works, FEA, and material dynamics
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in below
following:
Laboratory experimentation knowledge for setting up experiments and instruments to collect and analyze data, etc.
Proficient and experience in tooling hardware conceptual pathfinding, design, development, verification, validation and qualification process.
Proficient and experience on Designed For Manufacturability to ensure robustness of tooling solution for High Volume Manufacturing environment
Possess strong Analytical Mindset and 5Why for debug or troubleshoot.
Proficient and experience in Tolerance analysis skillsets and GDT knowledge for pre design simulation and modeling.
Basic electrical schematics and troubleshooting as well as knowledge of Six Sigma statistical methods such as Basic Stat, Comparison Methods, DOE and Reliability statistics.
