Performs research, design, and development of test equipment software, library, program flow, fixture, hardware, probing, module and/or tester for main and/or peripheral printed boards assembly (PBA). Responsibilities include technology pathfinding, architecture development, design material gathering, development of test strategy, device library, determining test parameters, specify test to be performed, conducting design review, designing test/fixture, performing fixture acceptance, debugging test/fixture, resolving design and implementation issues, performs testability and fault coverage analysis, meeting production quality and reliability requirement, and updating test/fixture as needed through product life cycle. Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgment on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your work place and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or working experiences .

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a Master's degree with at least 4+ years of experience or PhD with 2+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics or a related field.

• Expert in Solid modeling software such as ProE, AutoCAD or Solid Works.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 5+ years of experience in the one or more of the following:

• Expert in laboratory experimentation knowledge for setting up experiments and lab instruments to collect, analyze, debug, validate and verify data

• Expert in tooling hardware and thermal mechanical design, development, verification and validation process.

• Vast experience in Designed For Manufacturability knowledge.

• Expert in Analytical Mindset and 5Why for debug or troubleshoot.

• Expert in Tolerance analysis skillsets, FEA and GDT knowledge for pre design simulation and modeling.

• Basic math tools such as MATLAB, basic electrical schematics and troubleshooting as well as knowledge of Six Sigma statistical methods such as Basic Stat, Comparison Methods, DOE and Reliability statistics.

• Knowledge and experience in program management skillsets and experience in RF hardware tooling development are added advantage
