Join our small team and help define next generation client memory and storage architecture .  Role includes working closely with PnP and platform use case decomposition teams to understand how memory is being used by client workloads and project key trends like capacity, bandwidth going forwards.  Using these trends help define next generation memory system architecture working closely with design team and othr memory architect.  Also work with SW teams to help optimize workloads to more efficiently use memory. Role will be responsible for defining high level requirements & system architecture, plus will work closely with the product team from product concept to PRQ.   

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Researching, recommending, specifying and documenting technology for platforms in support of organization's strategic vision.

  • Translating business/customer requirements into platform architecture encompassing hardware, software, SoCs and other components designed to support a variety of systems, solutions and applications.

  • Designing, developing, and analyzing platform architecture and partitioning between hardware and software to meet use cases and workloads in terms of performance, scalability, manageability, reliability, and security requirements.

  • Leading architectural governance and decisions related to product technology and platform tradeoffs as part of a cross functional architecture decision group.

  • Providing technical direction for platform, SoC and component design activities. Influences the shaping of future products/solutions by significantly contributing to the architecture and technology employed throughout the compute continuum.

  • Providing multilayered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer - Engineering Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of industry experience or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Computer - Engineering Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of experience

  • 4+ years of experience in more or more of these fields:
    - Memory component architecture/design
    - Memory system architecture/design
    - SOC architecture/design
    - Platform architecture / design

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with client memory or platform architecture
  • Programing and/or modeling experience
