As an MIT Applications Build Engineer, your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Configuration and optimization of the toolchain used in modern build systems and continuous integration for software
- Debugging and enhancement of complex build systems and build tools (compilers)
- Enhancements on build profiling to optimize build processes
- Maintenance of existing build automation and ensuring SW quality and legal compliance
- Collaborating with internal IT teams and SW engineering teams within the corporation
Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or
additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.
Minimum
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or any other related field
- 3+ years of
experience in one or more of the following
areas:
- Software Engineering or Software Build automation
- One or more programming languages, such as C++, C, Java, Perl, Python, VBScript, JavaScript, PowerShell, ASP/ASP.NET, and UNIX (Bash)
- Any of the software release management and build automation tools, such as GIT, NPM, Hudson, and Cypress, or, other industry tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in one or more of the below would be a
plus:
- Technical leadership in engaging with product teams to develop and maintain build system environments used in continuous integration
- Software engineering environment module systems used to maintain several third-party and open-source tools in the build environment
- Automated software build systems and related IT infrastructure

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
