The OpenMP and Threading Runtimes team in the Developer Software Engineering group is looking for a middleware development engineer to help in researching and productizing the latest concepts in parallel programming. You will be responsible for understanding industry trends and translating those trends into competitive products. You will interact with customers to understand their problems and provide solutions using Intel products.The team deals with the software lifecycle end-to-end from requirements collection through customer engagement and community development. Opportunities for community engagement include participation at technical conferences, online technical presentations, and participating in the standards bodies to which the team's products comply.
Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would
be obtained through relevant previous school, industry jobs and/or
research experience.Master's degree in Computer Engineering,
Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field with 3+
years of experience or PhD in computer science, computer
engineering or a related field with 1 or more years of experience2
or more years of experience with the following technical skills:
Experience with parallel programming, shared memory runtimes, and
application performance optimization Fluency in C++ with experience
in generic programmingPreferred Qualifications:Experience
programming with OpenMP, TBB, and other parallel programming
frameworksThesis emphasis in parallel
programming

Annual Salary
Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$149,020.00-$223,560.00
