Job Description
This position is for Digital Content Memory Testing - Product Development Engineer (PDE) in the Manufacturing and Product Engineering, MPE, within the Design Engineering Group, DEG.In this role, you will be in charge of developing the content for the memory testing for the Xeon Server Product Family and also enabling the content on silicon and bring the Test Module to be stable and robust to run at high volume manufacturing. This role is a combination of hardware and software responsibilities that has visibility and interaction with multiple areas within Intel.In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:Working with the Design DFT team on pre-si validationWorking with the Design DFT team on running simulation/emulation for the Memory testingGenerating Memory BIST engine tests for leading edge process technologies for Intel Xeon Server product familyMemory testing Algorithm and failure mechanismWorking on ATE tester for Silicon Debug and offline validationData Analysis and dealing with big data from HVM testing, analyze the data and drive conclusionWorking across multiple team to deliver the product and meet the product schedule and milestonesDevelop and debug complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipmentCreate and test validation and production test hardware solutionsProblem solvingBehavioral TraitsStrong analytical and problem solving skills with a proven track record of creating and implementing integrated, multidiscipline solutionsCan work in unstructured environments and can initiate and drive new model path finding activity from ambiguity (concepts) to clarity (defined direction and development)Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management, effective listening and influencing skills that result in strong working partnerships across organization boundaries

Minimum Qualifications

Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with 1+ years of applicable experience in: - OR - a Masters of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field

Logic/array/functional validation in post-Si/MFG (and/or pre-Si)
DFT/DFD, hardware testing methods and tools
Hardware language (Verilog/SV) and scripting language (Perl/Python)
Hardware architecture, analog/logic/memory design and implementation


Preferred Qualifications

Experience with:

Microprocessor test (ATE and/or system test and/or pre-silicon verification)
Circuit design/Si process/test domains
Chipset integrated circuit testing and high volume manufacturing

Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) is responsible for test development across product segments, supporting 95% of Intel's revenue. We deliver comprehensive pre-production test suites and component/physical debug capabilities to enable high quality, high volume manufacturing.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
