NAND TD Module Process Engineer (Expatriate to Dalian China)- SK

INTEL NDTM TD team in
Dalian is a technology development organization to develop future
generations of 3D NAND process technologies through innovation,
product enhancement, as well as developing and enabling equipment
and process capabilities.
This job requisition is to seek
a US based, experienced candidate to take expat assignment in Intel
Dalian TD Thin Films Department. In this role, the selected
candidate will join a team of world-class process engineers and
work on CVD/PVD tools and processes. The job responsibilities
include developing leading edge 3D NAND film deposition process and
equipment (such as patterning hardmask, structural film, gap fill,
ALD and metallization), co-owning the technology transfer and
synergy with high volume production team, and collaborating with
Pathfinding team for equipment and process
enablement.
This position is associated with the sale of
Intel's NAND memory and storage business to SK Hynix (You can read

The transaction will enhance the resources and potential of the
business' storage solutions, including client and enterprise SSDs,
in the rapidly growing NAND Flash space amid the era of big
data.

This position aligns to
Phase 2 of the transaction, which includes NAND technology and
component development along with fab operations. Employees aligned
to Phase 2 will continue to be employed by Intel and will continue
to develop NAND technology and components and manufacture NAND
wafers at the fab. Phase 2 of the transaction is expected to close
in March 2025, at which time employees aligned to this phase of the
transaction will transition employment to SK
Hynix.
Qualifications
MS
or PhD in a science or engineering field and minimum 5 years of
experience in semiconductor RD environment are required;
Broad and deep understanding and skills of CVD and PVD
equipment and processes are required;
Hands-on
experiences in technology development and technology transfer are
highly desired;
Have the traits of being a motivated
self-starter, with strong ability to work independently as well as
in a team environment; able to think and operate independently,
while simultaneously focusing on many diverse priorities. Have
flexibility and maturity in facing uncertainties and changing
priorities /responsibilities. Commit to aggressive goals and win
with a can-do attitude. Act with velocity and a strong sense of
urgency. Respect cultural diversity and sensitivity. Have the
agility in learning, improving, and
innovating.
The position is associated with the sale of the NAND business to SK Hynix aligning to Phase 2 of the transaction. Employees aligned to Phase 2 will continue to be employed by Intel developing NAND technology and components. Phase 2 of the transaction is expected to close in March 2025 at which time employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition employment to Solidigm, a stand-alone US subsidiary of SK Hynix headquartered in San Jose, California with offices world-wide. $113,210.00-$187,350.00
