In this role, your day will be anything but ordinary. On a regular basis, you will be:

• Responsible for validation testing and stressing, and the maintenance of test and lab equipment.
• Providing assistance on debug efforts focused on networking products
• Interfacing with Program Managers and Technical Leads/Application Engineers
• Communicating effectively with internal customers
• Flexible in shifting and managing priorities
• Occasionally working in task force mode during issue resolution efforts in response to a customer escalation.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 8+ years of industry work experience
• Experience with advanced network configurations and technologies
• Familiarity with network adapters and background with networking products
• Experience with virtualization and related technologies
• Experience with VMware and Linux

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• AA degree preferred
• Experience with Cloud networking application management
• Experience with networking or system administration
• Experience with other open-source distributions such as FreeBSD
• Knowledge of deployment and usage models for NICs, VMware, and DPDK
• Knowledge of updating firmware and drivers
• Experience with hardware or system level debugging tools
