The New Employee Experience (NEX) program is looking for someone to help coordinate, execute, and innovate on activities to create a holistic onboarding experience.

This position is based on site in Cupertino, CA.

Key Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills; work cross-functionally to establish and deliver on a common goal
  • Strong writing and editorial skills
  • Understanding of how "big picture" elements will work at a local level, ability to lead change locally and connect the dots across multiple elements
  • Attention to detail and able to deliver small things that make a big impact
  • Highly organized and familiar with the fundamentals of project management
  • Experience in Project Management and Event Planning
  • Background in Communications or Marketing is useful

Description

This highly cross-functional role is involved in two areas: First, you'll be part of a global team that helps define the new hire experience. This team is constantly collecting new insights, and analytics to improve our strategy and experience at a global level.

Second, as a regional lead, you'll work to implement these experiences at sites across your region in partnership with a wide array of local partners. These experiences help support new hires throughout their first year at Apple which include in-person and virtual events and resources.
- Engage globally to design creative new hire experiences, gain leadership approval, organize, and influence regional partners for local implementation across several sites.
- Coordinate on-site logistics including event and participant management.
- Uphold quality of experience, including offering feedback and direction to various departments and partners to drive improvements consistent with the global experience journey.
- Share best practices and recommendations across the broader team that may lead to improvements at other locations.
- Critically examine both physical and virtual experiences of our new hires and marshal support and resources for solutions to improve them.
- Review NEX operations with other functions at Apple. Analyze important metric performance, surface issues, determine solutions and ensure these are accurately communicated for resolution.
- Partner closely with the Inclusion and Diversity team on supporting events for new hires at the local level.
- Manage content on Apple's onboarding websites, tools and email communications relevant to your region. Ensure these materials are meeting the intended goals and important metrics. Conduct regular audits to make sure they are up-to-date.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
