Automated Material
Handling System (AMHS) is a global team residing in the
Manufacturing IT (MIT) organization and is chartered to install and
sustain AMHS mechanical components within Intel's MSO Factories. NM
AMHS is looking for an experienced Senior Equipment Engineer (SrEE)
with strong Area Coordinator (AC) traits to support several
equipment product types. The successful candidate will partner with
the Program Manager Operations (PMO) team, construction
coordinator, and Supplier teams to work through design review, tool
installation, and Supplier/Intel Qual to define and manage install
milestones for AMHS equipment. The engineer will interface with,
manage, and organize various equipment product types and partner
with the program team and tool owners to ensure products are
installed and qualified on schedule. The SrEE will also work to
obtain product expertise to lead ATACs, drive lean methodologies
via HPM and lean tenants, and eventually own equipment product
types for the AMHS team.
Job scope and
focus:
You will be
responsible for safely installing or de-installing AMHS equipment.
You will be required to own and drive New Product Types from Design
through Supplier Qualification to include accuracy of design
packages, installation/demo details, coordination and scheduling of
facility systems connection, and disconnection. You will work
closely with the AMSH PMO team, AMHS Tool Owner, technicians, and
AMHS HUB engineering teams to ensure the project is meeting the
expected schedule and quickly raise any issues that may impact
safety, quality, or the schedule. You will own weekly updates on
the schedule and report out in AMHS team HUB
meetings.
Qualifications
You
must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered
for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the
minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in
identifying top candidates.
Minimum
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related STEM field
- 4+ years of overall industry experience
- 4+ years of experience in equipment engineering including tool installation/qualification
Preferred
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in advanced engineering principles, theories, and concepts as the individual will assess risk and identify issues and provide solutions to a wide range of complex problems
- 4+ years of experience with Install/Qual experience in an HVM site
- 4+ years of experience in leading installation and qualification teams from design through Intel Qual
- 4+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering environment
- Knowledge of statistics and experimental design; and experience to apply that knowledge to tool installation, qualification, and tool matching.
- Troubleshooting experience, working with a Lean methodology
- Experience with factory automation systems
