The Omnichannel Marketing Strategist is a supervisory level role, responsible for leading the Strategic Capabilities & Performance Marketing vertical within G&S’s Digital Center of Excellence. This position will focus on developing omnichannel marketing strategies, offering client counsel, overall digital campaign management, campaign performance reports and manage client expectations.

 

Duties:

  • Develop effective omnichannel digital marketing strategies that drive desired results
  • Develop rigorous testing programs to analyze campaign effectiveness across multiple dimensions (e.g. audience segment, channel, etc.) and continually test, analyze and optimize tactics to maximize ROI
  • Work in lockstep with Multichannel Excellence and Digital Advertising leads to ensure organic and paid programs are brand-consistent, complementary, and driving desired results
  • Measure and report performance of all digital campaigns against established goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Track conversion rates and work in tandem with Digital Enablement team in making improvements to website and campaigns.
  • Utilize social media and marketing analytics to help inform content strategy
  • Lead, develop, and mentor staff in matrix reporting structure
  • Manage client relationships and budgets
  • Provide senior counsel for account teams and clients
  • Oversee all executional responsibilities and administrative tasks associated with client accounts making sure agency reporting requirements are adhered to
  • Maintain industry awareness of trends and assess how it fits into the bigger picture of digital, social and traditional communications

Requirements

Skills/Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree with approximately 6-8 years’ experience in digital communications (agency and/or client side)
  • Proven leadership skills, with “big picture” understanding of B2B markets. Experience in agribusiness, advanced manufacturing & energy, financial & professional services, healthcare and wellness and home and building markets are a positive.
  • Demonstrated experience in running complex marketing programs      
  • Confident and effective speaker and presenter, as well as an active listener open to feedback
  • Proven expertise in developing effective digital marketing campaigns that use email, paid ads, SEO, social media, and other digital media to drive leads and build brand awareness.
  • Deeply analytical and data driven; proficiency with CPA, LTV, A/B testing, promotional strategy, optimization strategies, attribution models, and cohort analysis
  • Proven ability to retain and build client relationships, including managing through challenges
  • Ability to collaborate with others to deliver professional final products.
  • Up to date on the latest trends and best practices in marketing and martech
  • Familiarity with Adobe’s design suite (Photoshop & Dreamweaver), Wordpress and content management systems in general, database systems, HTML and project management systems. High level of comfort with core business tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • This position will likely have a remote start based on COVID-19, but ultimately we'd like to see this role in filled in either our Raleigh or Chicago office.
