About the Group:
As an integral part of Intel's new IDM2.0 strategy, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, standalone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO. IFS will be a world-class foundry business and a major provider of the US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. Intel Foundry Services will be differentiated from other Foundry offerings with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe - available for customers globally - and a world-class IP portfolio that customers can choose from including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP, along with ARM and RISC-V ecosystem IPs.
About the Role:
Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sampling testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
The
candidate must possess at least one of the 3 following degrees plus
the years of experience determined for each degree in the areas of
expertise specified
below:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline with 4+ years of experience
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline with 3+ years of experience
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline with 2+ years of experience
- 2+ year experience in optical/ RF/ Electrical Testing
- Ability to write test scripts in C/C++, Embedded programing or Python, Perl,
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with optical/RF/electrical characterization highly desired
- Experience in a broad range of optical and microelectronic technologies, materials, components, assembly, and test processes
- Strong debugging skills that enable the root causing of issues at the hardware and firmware levels and knowledge of Operating System, e.g., Windows and Linux;
- Expertise with design/verification environment used for prototyping platforms.
- Hands-on hardware build, test, and integration experience.
- Strong board debug and problem-solving skills.
- Skillful in operating test instruments in RF and optical domains and familiar with eye test and BERT
- Experience with high vacuum
