The candidate will be responsible for responding to requests from engineers, managers and peers through verbal, email, and online tools.
Troubleshooting, building, configuring, and testing client validation platforms with liquid cooled thermal tools will be your primary responsibility.
You will need to perform debug and/or special experiments without pre-defined documentation.
You will be required to communicate results and notify the team of any gating issues.
Perform with accuracy in a fast-paced lab environment.
Works with a significant degree of independence and should be willing to initiate, execute and manage job responsibilities with minimal supervision.
The candidate should have analytical and critical thinking skills.
Written and verbal communication skills are a requirement.
This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Qualifications
This
position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration
sponsorship. Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas
for positions where we experience a shortage of US Workers. These
skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions
requiring an undergraduate or graduate's degree with three
years' related job experience.
This
position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is
either a non-STEM contributing position OR a STEM position that
only requires a bachelors degree and less than three years
experience.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Associate Degree or bachelor's degree in a science, technology, math, engineering, or STEM discipline (candidate must possess the degree or expect to complete the required degree by employment start date).
OR
Be actively enrolled in an accredited education program pursuing an associates or bachelors degree in a science, technology, math, engineering, or STEM discipline.
OR
Certification in a technical field such as Microelectronics, Electronic Engineering Technology, Computer Electronic Engineering Technology, or similar STEM discipline.
OR
Military training in a technical field such as: Electronics, mechanical, or similar technical field and at least 6 months of hands-on experience.
OR
6+ months of experience with equipment troubleshooting installation, qualification, repair, or operations in a semiconductor environment or manufacturing environment.
Windows and Linux OS.
Validation and automation principles.
CPU and Motherboard interfaces such as: Ethernet, USB, PCIe, and Memory.
Willing to wear closed toed shoes all day.
Willing to lift up to 25lbs per hour.
Must be willing to be active and move around all day.
This is an
Essential Worker role and the candidate must be willing to work on
site in a full-time capacity.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of CPU and Motherboard interfaces such as: Ethernet, USB, PCIe, Memory.
Knowledge of client architecture.
Prior experience working in server CPU validation.
Background in electrical component debug.
Scripting experience (Python, etc.).
Soldering experience, a plus.
