Job Description

As the Tool Install Engineer, you will be responsible for but not limited to: 

  • Ownership of tool installs including design, prefac, tool move in, and safety sign-offs.
  • Planning and conducting tool conversions, relocations, and demos.
  • Provide input to industrial engineers related to factory layout.
  • Partner with manufacturing and engineering to design and install support equipment and fixtures.
  • In field coordination of trade resources to deliver on-time construction efforts and turn-ons.

  

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

  • Skilled to manage multiple ongoing projects and schedules
  • Demonstrated communication relationships with the department and partnering with others.
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills


Qualifications

 This is an entry-level position and will be compensated accordingly. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The candidate must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or other STEM-related fields. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with equipment design packages, install, and qualification
  • 1+ years of experience in equipment and process engineering
