The Original Content Marketing Lead will run global strategy for international series developed by our Content Development team, acting as the liaison across teams with a focus on driving buzz and viewership for Apple TV+ around the world. You'll be a key point of contact with agencies and creatives (show runners, creators), working closely with them to collaborate and communicate different facets of the campaign throughout the lifecycle of the show.

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of proven experience in consumer marketing, with direct responsibility for launching original, internationally focused entertainment properties
  • Shown experience in running robust portfolio of creatively led 360-campaigns, from show strategy to execution (both paid and organic, and delivering results)
  • Marketing subject matter expert in integrated marketing lifecycle developing strategy, positioning and target audiences for consumer campaigns at scale
  • Developed brand partnerships, promotions, activations and integrations with internal teams or 3rd parties, including retail extensions, experiential opportunities, push notifications, email, and editorial placements
  • Strategic partnership experience with digital teams on organic social and digital spanning content creation, community and audience development
  • Cross-functional collaboration across PR/Communications & Awards
  • Expertise partnering directly with talent, producers, show runners on all campaign marketing
  • Brings a highly strategic and analytical approach to decisions and problem-solving
  • Excellent communication, organizational and project management skills with solid attention to detail
  • Inventive self starter, willing to roll up sleeves
  • Demonstrated leader with established track record and career progression, with a shown ability to partner cross-functionally in our highly matrixed organization

Description

Lead cross-functional team planning to develop and execute global 360-campaigns, including leading key meetings, developing campaign recaps and updates, and using project documents, such as marketing trackers, timelines, status reports, budget review, etc. to ensure execution against goals.

Develop in-depth marketing strategy including positioning (audience targeting, comms strategies, research/cultural analysis); socialize strategy and creative output with partners such as development, producers/creators, show runners and leadership.

Manage pod resources and priorities, oversee scope, budget, and campaign resources vital in launching marketing for the lifecycle of titles.

Work with Creative to lead creative development and oversee internal/external partner execution of multi-media content assets that extend the show across paid/organic initiatives; ensuring materials align to show positioning and brand, and that creative is consistent across all consumer touch points.

Prioritize resources, work outputs, requirements and key deadlines to build and communicate realistic timelines for execution.

Establish meaningful metrics for campaigns. Partner with media team to develop brand and performance driven media plans that effectively promote the shows.

Liaise between LA-based and international teams to ensure Apple Originals are appropriately supported across key territories.

Collect regional teams' insights, advocate for and lead all aspects of production of bespoke assets for international.

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree or equivalent. MBA or relevant graduate work a plus.

Additional Requirements

  • Up to 20% travel.
  • Proficiency in languages other than English is a plus.
  • Ability to work across time-zones and cultures.
