Designs, develops, maintains, tests, debugs, optimizes, secures, and/or evaluates OS Kernel and system software, including device drivers, virtualization, hypervisor, and/or other software technologies both open source and proprietary.
Utilizes knowledge in software architecture, design, debug, development, operating system internals, and silicon on platform features.
Qualifications
Minimum
qualifications are required to be initially considered for this
position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum
requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top
candidates.
Minimum
Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science with 10 years of industry experience or equivalent experience.
Significant contribution to open source projects specifically related to Linux kernel.
Good knowledge in operating systems internals like threading, inter process communication and process life cycle.
Deep understanding of the C programming language.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Knowledge of x86 assembly language.
Experience in pre-silicon simulation platforms such as Simics.
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of

$171,440.00-$257,260.00
