CQN is building a team and proficiency from the ground up to tackle the challenges of enabling the new Intel Foundry Services business. This opportunity combines the freedom and excitement of working in a start-up with the security and benefits of working at Intel.

As is typical in a start-up environment, the right candidate will have demonstrated ability to excel across a wide range of areas and in an uncertain and shifting environment. This specific opportunity will require a self-starter with a deep understanding of package reliability.

The initial scope will include:

  • Comprehending and driving IFS customer quality and reliability requests relevant to package technology and manufacturing to successful resolution.

  • Providing packaging quality and reliability positioning and language to customer RFIs, RFQs and SOWs.

  • Being an advocate for IFS customers inside of Intel; ensuring the customer voice is heard.

  • Driving suitable business processes and collateral to support the IFS service business that maximize existing processes and capabilities within CQN and ATTD.

  • Creating and driving approval for standard customer sharable collateral.

  • Drive and support benchmarking exercises to enable competitive QR service offerings.

  • Partner closely and lead efforts to leverage the expertise within ATTD Quality and Reliability, ATTD and ATM Quality and Reliability to meet all aspects of quality and reliability required for IFS customers.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The candidate must possess a BS or higher degree in Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry and 4+ years of experience in related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in one or more areas of package technology die prep, substrates assembly and test.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer skills and willingness to work in a interactive environment on-site and remotely across geos.

  • Willing to work independently and thrive in a evolving new business environment.

  • The ideal candidate will also have extensive experience working in foundry or OSAT environment.

  • Proven track record of leading efforts involving multiple technical owners to drive timely and tangible results; track record of leading structured problem solving.

  • Expertise in one or more of these areas is a strong plus: Quality and Reliability, Product Design, Product test, Manufacturing Quality Systems.

  • Self-motivated with team work and motivation skills.

  • Statistical and data analysis skills.

  • Working knowledge of all aspects of Quality and Reliability both internal to Intel and in the industry
