Marcom is Apple's Global Marketing Communications group. We lead all of Apple's advertising and marketing efforts to ensure the considered development and execution of world-class communications.

As a member of the Marcom Paid Media team, you will be responsible for providing critical analysis and insights specific to Apple TV+ global paid media campaigns, to help inform and optimize channel strategy and implementation for all of TV+'s paid communications.

In this role you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data; media, attribution, social sentiment, and action resulting from paid and earned media campaigns. Help define standard methodologies and establish both media and business KPI's. Ability to aggregate complicated data and refine to build meaningful insights and impactful future recommendations.

Key Qualifications

  • Seasoned data scientist with 7 + years of experience developing analytical dashboards, solutions and strategy across digital marketing platforms and social ecosystems
  • In-depth knowledge of digital analytics data, measurement, methodologies and industry standards.
  • Experience with subscription marketing
  • Creative thinker in terms of success indicators and mix media modeling
  • Excellent communicator with good design sense and natural presentations skills that can weave results into a narrative for business and creative teams to comprehend easily.
  • Self-starter can take a project from start to finish with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to deal with rapidly changing, time-constrained launch schedules.
  • Able to balance multiple projects and assignments.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and patient.
  • Experience with AB testing and learning agendas.
  • Motivated to learn about different global cultures is a requirement.
  • Experience working directly with media agencies and technology teams as well as a wide array of business partners.
  • Understanding of web analytics and digital marketing is a requirement.

Description
- Partner with OMD to analyze front end media metrics including standard measurement as well as incremental online and cross channel measurement tools (i.e Nielsen Online ratings, TAR, etc.)
- Analyze owned data trends and attributions to feedback to media, brand and agency partners
- Create data informed actions (messaging analysis, features, timing, audiences, investment levels, R&F) to feed into future briefs and media plans
- Work with the media, brand and agency to create an always on testing plan and a formal learning structure
- Disseminate findings and optimizations to local geo teams and integrate their performance into executive summaries
- Monitor industry statistics to help define benchmarks and measure performance
- Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into executive recaps
- Work with the great Marcom Data Science team to share media insights and ensure we are all using the same language and priorities
- Designing and building dashboards and data visualizations to help business users understand data and inform decisions. There will be ad hoc analyses but also a need to build self-service tools for business users.

Education & Experience

BS or equivalent Degree - Marketing, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related fields.

Additional Requirements

  • - Strong working knowledge of SQL,Teradata preferred
  • - Experience with working with MMP's such as Branch or Singular
  • - Extremely proficient with Tableau and other Data Visualization tools
  • - Strong working knowledge of process automation using a scripting language a plus
  • - Solid understanding of fundamental statistical concepts and measurement methodologies
  • - WebAnalytics (Adobe Preferred)
