Job Description Overview:

SAP Ariba is looking for an highly organized and analytical Paid Media Project Manager that can support the Director of Web Strategy on the management and execution of our paid media program across multiple regions and stakeholders. The Manager will work with the Director to design a program of publisher testing, offer testing, web/landing page testing to support the program’s goals and find the ideal delivery and execution to drive the strongest results. The Manager will have excellent project management skills, able to create presentations on the program progression and provide weekly status recaps and reports.  The ideal candidate has depth of experience in designing and measuring paid media campaigns and is versed in the strategies and science to drive superior results which can also then be applied to the segmentation strategy for landing/web pages. Key metrics of success include solid execution, engagement, online inquiries, and ROI. This role will report to the Director of Web Strategy, as part of the SAP Ariba Corporate Marketing organization.  


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Design, build and execute paid media campaigns within markets to create awareness, foster consideration and drive demand gen. This includes orchestrating market unit execution with field marketing teams.
  • Create sophisticated segmentation and targeting strategies to reach the right audiences and target accounts from paid media and onsite ariba.com audiences.
  • Execute an account based marketing paid media and personalization plan to drive inbound lead acquisition from marketing qualified leads.
  • Weekly reporting, presentation creation and recaps of the paid media program to ensure ongoing alignment and visibility with Marketing teams.
  • Consistent and continuous monitoring of KPIs to optimize plans to improve return.
  • Collaborate with marketing programs, campaigns, solution & customer marketing, global communications teams, key business stakeholders to develop integrated marketing strategy
  • Ensure brand and messaging consistency across all social media channels and campaigns
  • Collaborate across the SAP Ariba organization on our Paid Social media efforts.
  • Paid media domain expert to produce new and exciting ways of engaging our audience.   
  • Establish regular cadence of business reviews and analytics with key stakeholders
  • Integrate media plans into the overall digital marketing strategy 



  • College degree in marketing, communications, or related field with 4+ years post school experinece.
  • Deep expertise of paid media and proven track record of managing paid media programs focused on B2B enterprises.
  • Disciplined approach to media planning and segmentation strategy  
  • Weekly reporting, presentation creation and recaps of the paid media program to ensure ongoing alignment and visibility with Marketing teams
  • Solid grasp of media measurement and the ability to make effective use of data to optimize, plan, and innovate
  • Solid judgment and problem solving skills
  • Experience analyzing Omniture or GA paid media results.
