Come join Intel's Performance Architecture and Analysis Organization as a Performance Architect. The team is responsible for architectural exploration, evaluation of design alternatives, performance projections, Power/Performance (PnP) trade-offs, and support performance validation for Data Center products. It involves using state of the art simulation and technology to make sure future SoCs deliver industry leading performance/power. You will need to have a strong background in computer architecture and micro-architecture, performance analysis and software. You will also need a strong background in SoC architectures/ microarchitecture with focused expertise in one or more of these areas: integrated IPs and accelerators, Fabric, Memory, Coherency and Core microarchitecture.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer /Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related degree with 6+ years of relevant experience. Or a Master's Degree in the same fields with 4+ years of relevant experience. OR a PhD degree in the same fields with 2+ years of relevant experience.
Your experience must be in the following:
- Computer Performance Architecture OR Microarchitecture OR Performance Modeling
- Experience (includes Research/Teaching) in at least one of the following Performance Architecture areas: Fabric, Memory, Coherency or Core
- Programming languages: C/C++, Java, Python or similar languages
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in more than one area of Fabric, Memory, Coherency or Core Microarchitecture
- Research/Publications/Patents in Computer Performance Microarchitecture
- Experience with performance scenarios/use cases and KPI/workloads
- Experience with hardware, software design and debug skills
