As a manager, you will help set priorities for the team, get results across organization boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance.
You will align plans, resources and direct engineering activities to meet schedules.
You will help cultivate and reinforce appropriate group values, norms and behaviors.
Provides guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues.
Assist when necessary on escalating issues to upper management.
Drive automation and process improvements by partnering with cross org engineering teams.
You will work with the team to assign platform and technology ownership.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or higher in an Engineering discipline Engineering Electrical Engineering or similar.
Minimum of 3 years of leading a team either formally or informally.
Minimum 3+ years experience working in hardware development bring up debug and validation.
Minimum 3+ years experience working in complex technical analysis within platform integration and validation.
Experience with tools for hardware version control and bug tracking.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and program management/team player skills.
Excellent problem solving and debugging skills including functional and performance issues across HW/SW domain.
Knowledge of the product development life cycle: Intel PLC process (Gladius).
Technical leadership decision making skills with ability to influence large technical team.
