Job Description

Platform Validation Engineering PVE within Programmable solutions group (PSG) is looking for a Platform Software Validation Architect to be a part of its team bringing a cutting-edge solutions based on next generation Cache-Coherent Interconnect technology (aka Compute Express Link)

Compute Express Link (CXL) is a next generation Cache-Coherent Interconnect for CPU, Accelerators and Memory expansion. CXL is designed to be an industry open standard interface for high-speed communications, as accelerators are increasingly used to complement CPUs in support of emerging applications such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Your daily agenda will be anything but ordinary. In this role you will:

  • Validate solutions to ensure product quality and innovating new and better ways to validate and deliver full SW Solutions through knowledge of use cases.

  • Enable the team with frameworks to simulate actual, or anticipated, customer workloads and relevant benchmarks

  • Understand and influence product specifications, working closely with architects, design engineering, and validation teams to ensure performance and quality

  • Define validation strategies and methodologies

  • Design and implement validation environments and capabilities to influence functional validation content

  • Debug complex systems in both pre- and post-silicon environments and managing customer requests

  • Coordinate with management and partners to maintain schedules

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 10 plus years of experience in the semiconductor industry

  • 5 plus years of experience in command of modern programming languages (C/C++)

  • 3 plus years of experience in customer use cases and developing and executing projects

  • 5 plus years of experience in guiding debugging  of complex platform, HW, SW/FW and environment issues with problem-solving skills coupled with the aptitude to learn and innovate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding the Datacenter hardware and software trends and solutions
  • Big Data Analytics, Database design, Application Middleware, HPC, Machine Learning, Security, Storage and Networking Stacks
  • Experience  with FPGA modeling and debug
  • Experience with  CUDA, Open VINO, One API toolkits and other similar technologies would be preferred
  • Experience with CI/CD, orchestration, scheduling, distributed systems, API's

  • Understanding the newest technologies and apply them to real-life use cases.
  • Experience working with customers in the design and deployment of automated large-scale data center solutions using either open source or proprietary solutions.
  • Experience in innovating, communicating complex solutions, and assist partners and customer SW teams in delivering next gen data center solutions
  • Prior knowledge and experience in design verification compatibility validation and stress testing is an added plus.
  • Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$148,930.00-$238,410.00
